Refund policy

Refund & Returns Policy

1. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects or limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, or any other applicable consumer protection legislation.

If goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or not fit for purpose, you may be entitled to remedies including a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund in accordance with applicable law.

2. Change-of-Mind Returns — Online Orders

If you purchase goods from us online, you will normally have a statutory 14-day cancellation period, beginning on the day after you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods.

You may notify us that you wish to cancel your order at any time during this period without giving a reason.

After notifying us of your cancellation, you must return the goods to us within 14 days.

Handling and Condition of Returned Goods

You are responsible for taking reasonable care of goods while they are in your possession.

You may inspect goods only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in a similar way to how you would reasonably be able to inspect them in a retail shop.

Where handling goes beyond what is reasonably necessary and results in a reduction in the value of the goods, we reserve the right to make an appropriate deduction from the refund to reflect that diminished value, where permitted by law.

For sealed trading card products, collectibles and similar products, breaking or removing factory seals, opening packs or boxes, removing protective wrapping, damaging packaging, or otherwise altering the product from its original condition may significantly reduce its resale value.

Where such handling goes beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the goods, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund to reflect the resulting reduction in value, as permitted by law.

Please return all products, packaging, accessories and other components supplied with the goods wherever reasonably possible.

Delivery and Return Costs

Where you cancel your entire order under your statutory cancellation rights, we will refund the price paid for the goods together with the cost of our least expensive standard delivery method.

If you selected an enhanced or more expensive delivery service, such as express or premium delivery, we are not required to refund the additional amount paid above the cost of our standard delivery service.

The direct cost of returning goods following a change-of-mind cancellation is the customer's responsibility, except where otherwise required by law.

We recommend using an appropriate tracked or insured delivery service when returning high-value products.

3. Cancelling an Online Order Before Dispatch

If you wish to cancel an online order before it has been dispatched, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where your statutory cancellation right applies and the order can be cancelled before dispatch, we will refund the amount paid, including any standard delivery charge.

If the order has already been dispatched, you may still exercise any applicable statutory cancellation right and return the goods in accordance with Section 2.

4. Faulty, Damaged, Misdescribed or Incorrect Goods

Please inspect your order after delivery and contact us as soon as reasonably possible if:

  • the goods are faulty;

  • the goods have arrived damaged;

  • the goods are not as described;

  • you have received an incorrect item; or

  • damage to the packaging has affected or compromised the product itself.

Where goods do not conform to the contract, we will provide the remedy required by applicable consumer law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

Where goods are faulty, damaged or misdescribed and a return is required, we will cover reasonable return postage costs as required by law.

To assist us in investigating damage or other issues, we may ask you to provide photographs of:

  • the shipping box or packaging;

  • the product packaging;

  • the product itself; and

  • any visible damage.

Providing photographs can help us resolve claims more quickly but does not affect your statutory rights.

We aim to respond to enquiries within 5 business days.

5. Packaging Condition

Trading card products and collectibles may occasionally have minor cosmetic imperfections to their external packaging as a result of manufacture, distribution, handling or transit.

Minor cosmetic imperfections such as small dents, scuffs, minor holes, surface marks or creases will not ordinarily mean that the goods are faulty, provided that the product itself remains unaffected and the goods were not specifically advertised or sold as being in mint, pristine or collector-grade condition.

However, you may have statutory rights where:

  • packaging damage has affected or compromised the product inside;

  • the condition materially differs from how the goods were advertised or described;

  • the goods were specifically advertised as being in mint, pristine or collector-grade condition and do not meet that description; or

  • the nature or severity of the damage means that the goods do not conform to the contract.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights.

6. In-Store Purchases

There is no general statutory cooling-off period for goods purchased in our physical store.

Change-of-mind returns or exchanges for in-store purchases are therefore offered at our discretion and may be refused.

This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

7. How to Start a Return

To request a return or notify us that you wish to cancel an online purchase, email:

sales@impactleaguetcg.co.uk

Please provide, where applicable:

  • your name;

  • your order number;

  • the item(s) you wish to return;

  • the reason for the return, where relevant; and

  • photographs where the goods are alleged to be damaged, faulty or misdescribed.

You do not need to provide a reason when exercising a statutory change-of-mind cancellation right.

Returns should be sent to:

8. Refund Processing

Statutory Online Cancellations

Where you exercise a statutory cancellation right, we will reimburse payments due to you within the time required by law.

For returned goods, we may withhold reimbursement until:

  • we have received the goods back; or

  • you provide evidence that you have sent the goods back,

whichever occurs first.

Where applicable, deductions may be made for diminished value caused by handling of the goods beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed and permitted by law.

Other Refunds

Where a refund is due for faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrect goods, it will be processed in accordance with your statutory rights and applicable consumer law.

Once we have processed a refund, your bank, card provider or payment provider may require additional time to credit the funds to your account.

If you believe a refund we have confirmed has not reached you, please contact us.

9. International Customers

Customers outside the United Kingdom may have additional mandatory consumer rights under the laws applicable to their purchase.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
